Fish Pose - Information
The complimentary counter pose to Sarvangasana. This pose stretches the thyroid fully with a beautifully arched spine following the compression of the throat and thyroid gland in shoulder stand.
This is a level one pose and a lovely heart and chest opener. Breathing deeply through the nose in this pose allows oxygen to reach the apex of the lungs. With regular practice the arch in the spine will deepen, the arms will strengthen and less weight will be on the crown of the head.
